Business Development Manager, RI and CT Territory

Overview: The account manager is on the road managing an effective, sustained and aggressive sales program for customers and prospects in an identified territory in Rhode Island and Connecticut. This position reports to the Senior Vice President/COO. We are looking for experienced outside salesperson with success in selling in the industrial service industry. We offer a stable work environment with great people, competitive base salary, plus bonus/commission, company car and benefits.


  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding plan sales results
  • Work with team to create and implement a strategic sales plan for territory development including sales literature, marketing and new product launches
  • Develop sales strategies to increase market segments and customer penetration
  • Assist team in developing short and long-range goals and objectives
  • Achieve balanced selling for all company product divisions
  • Develop effective channel partner relationships
  • Provide necessary reporting to track performance to goals
  • Interpret and ensure compliance with operating policies and procedures Prepare and account for weekly call plan strategy
  • Identify and capitalize on both short and long-term opportunities


  • Ideal candidate will be an efficient, customer-focused, self-starter with sales experience in the industrial services industry
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years outside sales experience
  • Must have a proven track record of meeting or exceeding annual sales goals
  • Must have territory-management experience
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong group and one-on-one presentation skills
  • Comfortable and skilled at communicating industrial technical information
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Word
  • Proven problem solving skills
  • Business or technical degree a plus
  • Must reside in, or be able to effectively manage, Rhode Island and Connecticut territory
  • Must be willing to travel with 1-2 overnights per week
  • Professional appearance
  • Clean driving record


Electro-Mechanical Technicians

Technicians travel to our customers to solve problems and repair equipment. Our customers view our technicians as partners in keeping them up and running—we offer 24/7 service calls and always put our customers first.  This is an excellent opportunity for a technician seeking a career, not just another job.

Qualifications include 2+ years work experience with:

·       AC/DC Motors

·       Diesel/Gas/Electric Generators (Commercial & Residential)

·       Electrical and Mechanical Systems (Industrial Repairs & Installs)

·       Crane/Hoist Systems

Successful candidates will have:

·       Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees and 


·       Strong analytical, problem solving, trouble-shooting skills

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Requirements for this position include:

·       Valid driver’s license and good driving record

·       Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

·       Must be team player—willing to work in an “on-call” rotation

·       Must be willing to travel out-of-state for short periods of time

        occasionally, as necessary

Lead Machinist


Lead Machinist works as a member of the team and fosters good employee/supervisor relationships and team building; promotes a strong company image with team members, customers and vendors; participates in LEAN manufacturing initiatives; and exhibits an unwavering commitment to servicing customer needs and to meeting company goals and objectives


  • Must be Journeyman-Level Machinist with Manual Machinery
  • Must have large component machining experience
  • Must have experience with General Machining, Pumps, Gearboxes and Mechanical
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Customer-focused, Detail-oriented, Safety-conscious
  • Ability to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities include:

  • Supervise all work performed by machinists
  • Perform machine and tool work on various mechanical assemblies
  • Work with sales to cultivate new business opportunities for the Machine Shop
  • Schedule/prioritize all Machine Department work including shift times for personnel
  • Assure that all completed work meets EASA, ANSI and IEEE Standards and other QC criteria
  • Requisition all equipment and tools for Machine Department
  • Direct machinists in proper maintenance of Machine Department
  • Take charge of all rush and priority work to meet/exceed customer expectation
  • Observe and enforce all required safety procedures
  • Perform other duties as may be required
